RHCC Members Playing a Game

The Rock Hill Chess Club has proudly been serving the York, Chester, and Lancaster county areas of South Carolina since 1995, providing the opportunity to learn, play, and study the great game of chess.

The club is a not-for-profit organization and derives its funds from an annual membership due assessment of $10 per player (special rate of $5 for students or senior citizens). Further, the club is a registered affiliate of the United States Chess Federation and enjoys all benefits and privileges allowed by its Charter.

Welcome to the Rock Hill Chess Club website! Our club strives to provide a pleasant, relaxing atmosphere for playing and learning the game of chess.

The club meets on the second and fourth Wednesday evenings from 6:00 until around 8:30 p.m. at Panera Bread in the Manchester Village Shopping Center located just off of Dave Lyle Blvd (see map).

Good coffee, good chess, and a friendly bunch of people. A club where everyone knows your name. We hope to see you at our next meeting!
